This class is for 8 years and up will demonstrate safe handling of firearms in the home and on the range. Children also learn how to respond if they find themselves in a situation where they of their friends find a "hidden" firearm in their home, or the home of a friend. We will teach proper grip, sight picture, stance, breathing, and trigger control. After the classroom session, the children head to the range with a certified pistol instructor. Youth will be taught on .22 caliber handguns and will do live fire at paper targets.
