My name is Kathy Howard. I have been shooting and instructing for over 20 years.
I am former law enforcement, Certified Illinois State Police concealed carry instructor, Certified National Rifle Association pistol instructor, and Range Safety Officer.
I teach the NRA Winchester Marksmanship program at a non profit youth organization where I am a ground team leader on the search and rescue team.
We are committed to providing and delivering the highest standards of professionalism, care, and education in instruction and firearm safety.
We believe that families from men, women, and children should train together. As such, we specialize in training for beginners, women, and youth.
What sets us apart is that we understand that not everyone is comfortable in a group environment, or has a busy schedule that conflicts with regular scheduling. We can set you up directly with a certified instructor and you'll be able to schedule a time to meet that works with both your schedule, and our instructor's.
Perhaps you have taken an intro to handguns class and would like to further your training, but not necessarily in the form of a group atmosphere. Contact us to setup an appointment and your time will be tailored directly around what you would like to gain from that time. Working on your grip, stance, sight acquisition, better grouping, etc.
We provide all classes in the convenience of your home or you host at another location like your office or community center. We make it easy to obtain your license or training from certified trained instructors.
